Yet another I have to disagree on. Every Sim game is still sold by Electronic arts / Maxis. In fact, I see these games every time I enter EB. :rolleyes: ANother fine example of what I am talking about when it comes to HOTU....

Sierra games are no longer sold where I live. Can I purchase them from Sierra's site? Nope. Are they abandonware? Nope. Why? Sierra is an ESA member. Are EA games abandonware? Nope. Why? They are an ESA member. Same dealey.....

Only the developer is important if the game is ESA-protected

Sim-games are developed by Maxis and published by EA

Sierra-games are developed and published by Sierra

I'm pretty sure Maxis, Origin and some are simply divisions of EA. Also, I'm sure Maxis still makes games like Sim City 4000 and The Sims. If asked, they would probably sell the sim collection (with simtower).
