Bonjour / Bonsoir J'ai un petit soucis sur le jeu : les visiteurs - le jeu

Oyé Oyé à toutes et à tous, fraichement arrivé sur le Forum je m'en remet déjà à vous en ce jour de crise pour trouver une solution à mon petit problème sur un jeu de jeunesse, j'ai nommé LES VISITEURS - LE JEU. N'ayant pas la vue aiguisée d'un aigle royal ni celle d'un super robot du futur je me vois très désappointé par la vitesse légèrement abusive des mirettes ( vitesse de rotation de la camera ) auriez vous une solution à me partager ?

pour télécharger le jeu j'ai téléchargé le CD1 et CD2, ensuite je l'ai monté avec Power ISO, j'ai extrait le fichier " Visiteurs", j'ai créer le dossier " Games " et tout cela comme indiqué en bas de la page.

Le jeu lancé tout va bien pour les cinématiques, une fois passé écran vert. Je relance le jeu, image nickel. Je vais dans les options pour dompter la mirette avant d'attraper le mal de mer, je met en vitesse limace, mais pas de boille ça va finir en croisière cette histoire.

HELP !

Solution simple télécharger la version " automatique " ou essayer de déposer dgvoodoo dans les fichiers du jeu.

Bonjour, je te remercie de ta réponse, j'ai pris la version automatique ça fonctionne bien. Je n'arrive pas a le mettre en plein écran je vais essayer de trouver la solution. Au pire je le ferais en mode fenêtré pas grave ^^

oui c'est version automatique un peu plus âgée, si tu est patient je peux faire une version plein écran au lancement d'ici quelques jours.

The "automatic" version does not work for me unfortunately
Windows 95 only launches in "Safe" mode - DOSBox-X crashes when trying to run it "Normal".



I have this game as the original 1998 "FNAC limited edition"; the version on ABF is the 1999 re-edition, but I do not see much difference there.
The game used to run fine in Windows 95@DOSBox SVN Daum for me - until it had to switch the CDs. That did not work...
And the game does not want to run in Windows 7 x64 or in Windows 98@VirtualPC (it launches fine, but turning around is almost impossible because of the speed), and in Windows 95@PCem it is way too slow.

The best choice turned out to be Windows 98@VirtualPC with CPU slowed down with the help of external program for about 90%.
In PCem it is too slow and the sound is somewhate garbled, and both in PCem and DOSBox (my own Windows 95@SVN Daum 2015 - the ABF's Windows 95@DOSBox-X still crashes for me) there is a weird problem of crashes and freezes in the gobelin room.

Well you finished the game . did you surprised be the ending with boysband singing "Madeleine" ?

I make a news version auto for windows , with DXWND and special "ddraw.dll" for cap the game to 60fps , the mouse is not to faster

Sure, that was quite a strange ending for a Medieval game
Your new Windows version works mostly fine! The only problem is with the movies - they are displayed in a somewhat wrong way (with a still picture overlapping the animation). Are they OK for you?

On my Win10 , there are no problem with the videos "intro", like this



but ingame i have the same problem has you



Maybe sonething wrong can be corrected but i don't know what it need to be changed in dxwnd options

I have re-downloaded the installer just now, but it was totally the same as the old one. Maybe it has not been yet updated for users?
Can you please attach just the modified settings file?

The new version is available online, to see in the game files if it is possible to change the configuration of DXWND.

I re-donwloaded and tested and no problem for me . I think it can depend of your computer . other people can have the same result as you or the same as me

i use the ddraw.dll of Narzoul https://github.com/narzoul/DDrawComp...readme-ov-file

i try with dgvoodoo but ingame i have only a black screen for videos .

Can you try with an other computer ?
