[PC] [Android] [FREE] Castle Conquest - old Czech board game

Hello friends,

I would like to introduce you to a "new-old" board game.

The game 'Dobývání hradu' (English='Castle Conquest') was the Czechoslovak board game from 80' years.
I bought it about 30 years ago in Czechoslovakia. Unfortunately, nowadays almost no one knows this game. The factory that made it is dilapidated. Sad

I decided to revive it and rebuild it on PC/Android.

I do not have rules in French. I am sorry!
But the rules of the game are very simple. Knight can all the way as a chess rook, just up and down from the tower can by 1 field. The goal is to conquer the key (castle).

The game is very well made (first impression), with a good choice of design.

I will give more comments in a while after trying it a bit.

Good job anyway, I like the idea of giving a new life to a old board game from eastern Europe.

Your game is pretty interesting and well made bro.
I am playing on my smart-phone, a LG G5. One critic I could make is that the screen is very small and so it's hard to click on the right square on the board.
It is then also hard to see all the design as some square are almost hidden by the walls. (down side).

Maybe it could be helpful if we could zoom in&out, or rotate the board clockwise and counterclockwise.

Having said that, it's a great job you did, really!

ps. Oh yeah, in the options, what is the last one with the dices? What is the influence?

Yes, I know, mobile 5" LCD is the limit. I was thinking that it would only be on tablets, but I didn't want to limit it in the end...

Unfortunately, the zoom function is a lot complicated in this case. (At least for me.)

Try PC version, it's much more comfortable.

About dices: It is a measure of variability for the machine AI. The more you set, the more variability plays, but also the risky (and sometimes we can say more stupid). In other words: in the same position, AI may decide otherwise and do not repeat moves. But it makes a little more mistakes. There is a stronger element of random.

Thanks also for the explanation about the dices. I played with the different options, and I see the difference you mention.
I realized that even the level 1 was pretty hard to win already, when the dice option is on the left^^

I need more practice.
