le contenu dans un fichier RAR du contenu de data.win (forte chance tous les images
du jeu).

Ce n'est pas grave si c'est trop long, les mots s'inscrivent sur les images du jeu.

Ah okay, well I'm sure the meaning will make sense to the player as it gains access to the battles against the knights.

Okay I've written down some things, let me know what you think:

• The tickets are called Ticket 1 and Ticket 2 in the game code, to differentiate the two nameless tickets. The first one gives access to the Red Knight in the Shrine of Strength, the second ticket gives access to the Blue and Green Knights. Should they maybe be called something else?
• What's the difference between Dague (the knife treasure) and Poignard (the dagger spell)? Are they different types of knives? If so, I suppose that's okay.
• What's the difference in meaning between Anneaux de feu and Anneaux du Feu? If I recall correctly, Rings of Fire shoots fireballs in 4 directions around Zelda, which is vaguely a ring.
• Regarding the hammer/broadsword etcetera, the words "spell" and "weapon" are used interchangeably in the game. I personally think that because Zelda is wielding a wand, she's conjuring these objects with it.
• I'd go with Ruban rouge because you can knot a ribbon into a bow tie but it's still a ribbon.
• Regarding the golden boots, it's not a name, they're just golden boots, just like there are red boots. Not sure which translation is the one that's not a name.
• I assume Alligator Shoes are shoes made from Alligaroo (bipedal alligator enemy) skin. Could it be a good idea to change the name of this item to Alligaroo Shoes? I'm not sure if I'll use them though, so it might not be important.
• I translated Noise to Geluid, because the NPC that gives it to you mentions it making "a noise". I also have trouble find a Dutch word for sound that starts with an N other than "nagalm" which means reverberation. Would that be better?

I translated my comments on my choices so that you could be aware of them, but it's a subtlety in French that doesn't concern you in English or Dutch. I mostly need the opinion of Ticket or Billet are synonyms in French. If you tell me it's preferable to use "ticket" for the code, that doesn't bother me.

Well, looking at the pictures and the descriptions. It seemed to me that the knife is actually a dagger and the dagger is actually a poignard. A dagger looks like a dirk, but it can be thrown. Since it is specified that the object is flying, I concluded that it was a dagger.

"Anneaux de feu" evokes rings that are on fire or contain fire, while "Anneaux du feu" can be used to refer to rings that are associated with fire. It doesn't make much difference, but I wish our members would choose. For example, in the Lord of the Rings, it is said: "Voici l'Anneau de Feu, et grâce à Lui, tu pourras raviver la flamme dans les cœurs en ce monde que gagne le froid."

Regarding spells that are weapons. They are objects, except that they are magical. But the term in the Zelda series is Spells. It's weird, but that's how it is.

Ruban rouge, that's good, I agree.

Golden Boots without a capital O, I agree.

Gator or alligator shoes without capitals, I agree. That's correct in French. I don't know about another language.

"Nagalm" is more coherent because of the "N". The meaning according to Wiktionary is "resonance", "echo", "repercussion". So it's correct according to me.

I'm still waiting for the members' feedback and I'll approve the translation into French.

Also according to TCRF the White Orb(s) were two items that had an identical sprite. Probably won't use them though.

If you resurrect a white orb, my translation is correct, but if you resurrect two orbs, you'll need to let me know so I can put it in the plural, namely: "Orbes blancs."

Life Potion = Potion de Vie
Earth Map = Carte de la Terre
Illusion Map = Carte de l'Illusion
Air Map = Carte de l'Air
Destiny Map = Carte du Destin

Fire Map = Carte des Feux


Bell = Cloche
Zola Replellent = Répulsif Zola

Ce n'est pas une harpe, mais une lyre. La forme est très différente d'une harpe et c'est le nom officiel dans la série pour cet instrument.

Ok, je vais mettre Ticket 1 et Ticket 2.

Ok, je change le nom des cartes et je fais de même pour les boussoles, car il faut harmoniser.

Je pense qu'il faut garder Clochette car c'est le nom officiel et ça correspond au visuel. L'objet est petit.

Ok, pour Ruban rouge.

Ok, Flacon de vent, mais sans la majuscule.

Ok, Bottes dorées me va bien, car c'est visuellement des bottes.

Cut Content = N'est pas visible, c'est juste pour signaler dans le tableau qu'il s'agit d'un objet qui n'apparaît pas dans le jeu.

Chaussures en alligator, si tu veux, mais c'est long. Aucune importance, cet objet n'apparaît pas dans le jeu.

Steak saignant. Je n'aime pas trop le mot steak, car c'est un anglissisme et le mot saignant est un terme pour la cuisson. Mais bon, cet objet n'apparaît pas dans le jeu, alors je cède.
